The Vincenzo Florio and the Raffaele Rubattino were the first new generation ferries to enter the fleet between the end of 1999 and 2001.

Both measuring 180 metres, the Florio and the Rubattino have a tonnage of 30,650 tons and can sail at a speed of 23 knots.

These ships can carry 1471 passengers and 626 cars in maximum comfort.
They connect Naples to Palermo.

Onboard: elegant double and quadruple cabins, comfortable armchairs, à la carte restaurants, self-service restaurants, two bars with ample lounges, shopping area, cinema, small halls.

Florio and Rubattino are fitted out in every bit as well as any cruise liner, and they became the benchmark for all the new ferries to enter the line in the following years, and for the refitting of existing ferries.
